Dr. Renkens has been involved in the development and commercial success of medical devices used in operating rooms around the world, Medcura said in an April 26 announcement of his appointment. He specialized in neck and back conditions before retiring from his clinical practice last year.
Medcura develops hemostatic products for surgical, medical and consumer use.
