Dr. Rade is the Prim. Dr. Martin Horvat Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Hospital in Croatia. He was recognized for a paper titled “In Vivo Magnetic Resonance Imaging Measurement of Spinal Cord Displacement in the Thoracolumbar Region of Asymptomatic Subjections: Part 1: Straight Leg Raise Test” as well as “Part 2: Comparison Between Unilateral and Bilateral Straight Leg Raise Tests.”
The peer review committee determines the Young Investigator Award. Dr. Rade has a special interest in neural mechanics and quantification and analysis of neural protective responses. His final goal is constructing new effective diagnostic algorithms and therapies. Last year he received the “2013 Young Scientist Award” from the Finnish Spine Society.
