The system includes Biostat Biologx Fibrin Sealant, which is a human derived, biologic tissue sealant. It also includes the Biostat Delivery Device, which is designed for safe delivery of biologic materials to the intervertebral disc.
The company initiated a Phase III study of the system in March 2010, which is currently still enrolling subjects at 20 centers across the country.
