Spinal neurosurgeon elected to Missouri hospital board

Charles Bondurant, MD, has been elected to a newly created board that oversees operations at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo., the Columbia Daily Tribune reported Jan. 7.

The Boone Health Governing Board has 11 members who will manage operations at the 392-bed hospital and its affiliations, which include the medical group, home care and hospices.

Dr. Bondurant, a neurosurgeon with Mid-Missouri Neurosurgery in Columbia, has practiced with Boone medical staff for 26 years.

He and Terry Ryan, MD, provide neurosurgical services at Boone Hospital.
