The registry aims to help surgeons and hospitals:
- Locate surgical tools and devices
- Identify and plan for the lifecycle of implants and devices
- Track model numbers, serial numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates and order information
- Outline manufacture-specific instructions for use
Bodi is the only spinal implant database in the U.S. that adheres to guidelines from the CDC, HHS, FDA and the Joint Commission, according to a Feb. 2 news release.
