Here’s what you need to know:
1. Spinal decompression therapy is a noninvasive chiropractic treatment for back and neck pain.
2. The therapy works by creating negative pressure in the spine, in an effort to increase blood flow and oxygen to promote healing.
3. The center’s spinal decompression therapy uses intermittent spinal traction, which is controlled by a computer program.
4. The therapy provides pain relief from sciatica, spinal stenosis, spinal arthritis and degenerative disc disease, among other conditions.
5. Spinal decompression therapy will be used in combination with other treatments at Arizona Pain and Injury Centers. Other pain management techniques include acupuncture and physical therapy.
