Spectrum Health Opens Brain & Spine Tumor Center

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health announced the opening of The Brain & Spine Tumor Center in Grand Rapids.

The center will provide care for patients with central nervous system, spine and brain tumors. It includes multidisciplinary patient clinics, such as a dedicated pituitary tumor clinic and offers advanced imaging services.

 

The center is led by Spectrum Health Medical Group board-certified physicians Todd Vitaz, MD, director of neurosurgical oncology; Wendy Sherman, MD, a fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist; and Kiran Taylor, MD, division chief of psychiatry and behavioral medicine.
