Los Angeles-based Source Healthcare has added Aclarion’s Nociscan AI tool for spine diagnostics, according to a Feb. 3 news release.
Source Healthcare is an orthopedic and regenerative health clinic, with pain management physician Timothy Davis, MD, leading the facility. Nociscan is a non-invasive tool designed to help physicians identify the source of a patient’s lower back pain.
“We see and treat a lot of patients with chronic low back pain and degenerative disc disease,” Dr. Davis said in the release. “Historically, we have used lumbar MRI and anesthetic discography with good results. We are excited to gain access to Nociscan, a MR Spectroscopy test that objectively evaluates various pain and structural integrity biomarkers non-invasively, something not available from MRI or discography.”
