Society of Neurological Surgeons names Dr. Ralph Dacey president: 4 key notes

Ralph G. Dacey Jr., MD, was named president of the Society of Neurological Surgeons, according to The Review Examiner.

1. Dr. Dacey is the Henry G. and Edith R. Schwartz Professor and chairman of the department of neurological surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.

 

2. He previously served as president and treasurer of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

 

3. He is a consultant neurosurgeon for the St. Louis Rams and the St. Louis Blues.

 

4. He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
