Singing spine surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois joins Resurgens Orthopaedics

Elvis Francois, MD, a spine surgeon who shot to fame with his musical performances on “The Masked Singer” on FOX, has joined Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics, the Henry Herald reported Dec. 18.

Four notes:

1. Dr. Francois specializes in adult reconstructive spine surgery, minimally invasive surgery and general orthopedics.

2. He completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and a spine surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston this year.

3. Dr. Francois will practice at Resurgens’ McDonough and Griffin, Ga., locations. He is affiliated with Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge and Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville.

4. Dr. Francois has accumulated more than 270,000 followers on Instagram and has made several TV appearances on shows that include “Good Morning America”, “The Today Show” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
