Simi Hospital hires Dr. Alen Ardalan Nourian to bring in new surgeries: 4 highlights

Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital designed a new program addressing complications with the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, scoliosis and deformity surgery, according to Moorpark Acorn.

Here are four highlights:

 

1. The program focuses on a combination of medication, surgery and physical therapy.

 

2. Physicians offer ALIF, XLIF, anterior cervical discectomy, lumbar microdiscectomy, cervical and lumbar disc replacement, posterior cervical and lumbar laminectomy and cervical vertebral corpectomy through the program.

 

3. The hospital welcomed orthopedic spine surgeon Alen Ardalan Nourian, MD, to its staff.

 

4. Dr. Nourian is part of Ventura Orthopedics Medical Group, and specializes in general orthopedics and the treatment of spinal disorders.
