The Seton Center is home to a new zero-gravity device, one of only handful in the country. The zero-gravity equipment uses computers and sensors to calibrate the amount of weight patients put on their legs. A harness keeps the patients from falling as they learn how to walk again.
A gift from the Doug English Lone Star Paralysis Foundation provided funds to buy the device. Doug English was a football player at the University of Texas and later the NFL’s Detroit Lions before he suffered a career-ending, near lethal neck injury.
