The test is available at The Pediatric Spine Service at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina. A SCOLIOSCORE provides a numeric value to the correlation between a patient’s gene pattern and the gene pattern of other patients with spinal curvature.
The test is performed by using the patient’s saliva sample. A SCOLIOSCORE is most effective with patients aged nine to thirteen who have curves under 25 degrees.
