Rush Health welcomes Dr. Lon Alexander: 5 highlights

Neurosurgeon Lon Alexander, MD, joined Rush Health in Chicago, according to The Meridian Star.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Dr. Alexander treats patients with a full range of neurological conditions, including spinal disorders, cranial disorders, peripheral nerve disorders and neurological sports injuries.

 

2. Dr. Alexander has co-authored eight neurosurgery textbooks and 23 peer reviewed publications.

 

3. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Alexander completed his residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson.

 

4. Dr. Alexander underwent fellowship training from the Polenov Neurosurgical Institute in Leningrad, Russia, and Nagoya University School of Medicine in Japan.

 

5. Rush Health is comprised of seven hospitals and 26 primary care clinics.
