The procedure was devised by Fred Sweet, MD. It has been utilized by Dr. Sweet and his colleagues on more than 70 patients in the past eight years. The technique involves straightening the spine through the disc where there are no blood vessels without cutting through any bone.
The technique also extends the ability to correct severe spinal deformities to patients that may have multiple medical conditions and/or are of more advanced age. Dr. Sweet has been sharing his results with his peers in the medical field.
