Spine specialists Uzodu Agochukwu, MD, Vamsi Kancherla, MD and Christopher Blanchard, DO, joined Resurgens Spine Center, which now includes more than 30 spine physicians. “These three highly trained spine surgeons make Resurgens Spine Center even more equipped to serve all patients experiencing neck and back pain throughout metro Atlanta,” said Thomas Dopson, MD, co-medical director of Resurgens Spine Center. “Each of them have been trained in the latest nonsurgical and surgical techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery and total disc replacement.”
Dr. Agochukwu earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his spine fellowship at Augusta (Ga.) University Health. Dr. Blanchard earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a spine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. Dr. Kancherla earned his medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his spine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
