The program is based on Medability’s SimBone simulation program and offers hands-on training with virtual x-ray, computed tomography imaging and navigation with a realistic lumbosacral spine model, according to a news release.

“We are dedicated to supporting physicians with clinical training and education to increase procedural efficiency and enable better patient outcomes,” Tyler Binney, president and CEO of Relievant Medsystems, said in the release. “The Intracept Simulator System is an important innovation that will empower more physicians to provide their patients with vertebrogenic pain relief.”

Intracept is a minimally invasive spine procedure designed to address chronic vertebrogenic low back pain.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
