Professional societies subcommittee donates $300K to Congress of Neurological Surgeons Foundation

A subcommittee of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons donated $300,000 to the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Foundation.

The funds will go toward developing a set of clinical practice guidelines for perioperative spine surgery.

CNS Foundation Chair Elad Levy, MD, praised the donation and elaborated on the guidelines, saying the guidelines have the potential to “advance our practice tremendously.”
