Princeton Brain has been with eClinicalWorks since 2010 and is now transitioning to the cloud to eliminate extra IT costs, database backups and server maintenance, according to a May 16 press release.
The new cloud-based software includes scheduled maintenance windows, automated data backups, and allows for remote access to the platform as well as scalability and adaptability.
“We were hesitant to move to the eClinicalWorks Cloud because of the differences between the cloud and server versions. Change is not always easy, especially when it’s your EHR, the backbone of our practice. However, it was one of the best decisions we ever made,” Lyndsey Gill, Princeton Brain’s executive director, said in the release.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
