PinnacleHealth System offers strong spine program: 3 takeaways

Harrisburg, Pa.-headquartered PinnacleHealth System’s Spine Institute surgeons perform about 1,300 inpatient and outpatient spine surgeries every year, according to MDNEWS.

Here are three takeaways:

 

1. The CareChex Hospital Quality Rating for Medical Excellence ranked the institute first for spine fusions and second for all spine surgery in the state.

 

2. The institute is one of three Pennsylvania centers certified in spine surgery by the Joint Commission.

 

3. The Spine Institute surgeons were the first in the nation to implant the SECURE-C cervical artificial disc.
