John Adler, MD, a neurosurgeon from Stanford, launched a medical journal to make research more accessible to the public, according to the Stanford School of Medicine blog Scope.

Columbia University in New York announced that it received a donation for $200 million from Mortimer B. Zuckerman for the establishment of an institute dedicated to neuroscience research and discovery.

Ronald Wisneski, MD, joined Cape Orthopedics in Lewes, Del., this fall to serve as a spine specialist, according to the Cape Gazette.
