Outpatient spine, orthopedics to see 13% growth by 2025

Outpatient services, including spine and orthopedics, are expected to see significant growth between 2025 and 2035, according to Sg2’s 2025 Impact of Change Forecast.

Overall outpatient care volumes are projected to grow 18%, the report said. For spine and orthopedics, outpatient service line growth is expected to increase 13% based on population-based forecasts and Sg2’s outpatient forecast.

Sg2’s inpatient forecast for spine and orthopedics is expected to dip 6% from 2025 to 2035.
