OrthoSC adds interventional spine physician

Interventional spine physician Ryan Mathern, MD, will join OrthoSC in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Aug. 7.

Dr. Mathern has expertise in nonsurgical spine care and provides services including nerve blocks, spinal injection and arthritis treatment, according to a June 17 news release shared with Becker’s. He will work out of OrthoSC’s Market Common and Murrells Inlet locations.

He earned his medical degree at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, N.J., and he completed his residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, N.C.
