Gold Coast Orthopedic Spine and Hand Surgery is the newest venture for Dr. Fink, who has more than 30 years experience in the field.
The center will offer procedures to take out herniated, bulging, extruding and extruded discs. Additionally Dr. Fink will treat fractures in the back, perform sacroiliac joint fusion and remove bone from neural foraminal narrowing.
Dr. Fink said one of the main reasons patients would come to his practice would be for herniated disc treatment.
“With our technique, people come into the surgical center, we make a small incision in the operating room, often with just sedation anaesthesia,” Dr. Fink said. “We’re able to go to the disc without disturbing very much of the other anatomy.”
