Orthopaedic & Spine Center Donates $350 to Foodbank Through Facebook Campaign

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center in Newport News, Va., announced it has donated nearly $350 to the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula due to its supporters on Facebook.

In November 2013, the center announced the launch of its inaugural online campaign via Facebook in support of the food bank. It had stated that for every “like” its Facebook received, it would donate $1 to the food bank.

 

The Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula is an organization that solicits, receives and distributes purchased and donated food to charitable agencies that help the needy.

 

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center is a full service orthopedic practice with 24 patient exam rooms, three fully equipped X-ray suites and an open MRI center.
