Orthopaedic and Spine Institute Opens Pediatric Orthopedic Center

Orthopaedic and Spine Institute Medical Centers in San Antonio, Texas, have formed a new pediatric orthopedic medical center to treat children with orthopedic injuries, diseases and conditions.

Temporarily, the center will be located in the primary practice location near the South Texas Medical Center. A new facility is being built at a north side location, according to the release.

Specialists will be required to have board certification and 10 years of training, including a subspecialty fellowship in pediatric orthopedics and pediatric spinal deformity.

Conditions treated will include limb and spinal deformities, joint infections and tumors, scoliosis and broken bones.
