Dr. Niemeier treats patients for all spinal disorders including cervical spine and complex spinal deformities. He is trained in minimally invasive surgery and motion-preserving techniques.
He will see patients at Optim’s locations in Savannah and Bluffton in Georgia.
Dr. Niemeier earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center and a spine surgery fellowship at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, Calif.
Dr. Niemeier is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and AO Spine among others.
