1. CMS honors hospitals by measuring patient satisfaction via a patient survey with questions about communication, cleanliness, noise, staff, pain management and post-discharge recovery directions.
2. In its 14th year, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is ranked first in overall hospital care, overall surgical care, joint replacement and major orthopedic surgery by CareChex.
3. HealthGrades ranked the surgical hospital among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement.
4. Oklahoma Surgical Hospital’s patients can take a Press Ganey survey following their experiences at the hospital. Press Ganey honored the hospital with its Guardian Award for Patient Satisfaction, indicating that Oklahoma Surgical Hospital received a 95 percent or above score in patient satisfaction.
5. A total of 251 hospitals nationwide received the five-star rating.
