Dr. Smith, 65, was allegedly performing an anterior cervical decompression fusion on a female patient when he began making sexually charged comments, the report said. He then allegedly placed his hand on the patient’s breast and “squeezed for approximately 1 to 1.5 seconds.”
He allegedly then asked his team not to report him.
Dr. Smith was charged with two counts of sexual battery, the report said. He was taken to a county jail on July 28.
