Matthew Hazzard, MD, completed Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Northside Hospital Gwinnett’s first case using the OptiMesh Align system, according to an Aug. 25 news release.
OptiMesh Align is a minimally invasive device that expands inside the body to match patient anatomy. It is designed to restore spinal alignment and stability.
Earlier this year Northside Hospital added endoscopic spine surgery at its Northside Hospital Forsyth location in Cumming, Ga.
