Fayetteville, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Health has opened an orthopedic spine surgery clinic, according to an April 6 report by ABC affiliate WTVD.
The health system held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the clinic, which will provide coordinated care for patients with spinal conditions and injuries. The clinic offers an all-in-one model intended to streamline care delivery, with services focused on personalized treatment for spine procedures available within the system rather than outside referrals.
The site will help ease capacity constraints at existing locations and centralize spine services. The clinic also introduces a more hands-on, patient-centered approach to care delivery, according to the report.
The new facility will serve patients across Cape Fear Valley Health’s eight hospitals, which span multiple counties in North Carolina.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
