Funds from Relax The Back will support the foundation’s research in adult and elderly care in conjunction with Jeffrey Wang, MD, and the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. The research supports the Spine 10×25 Initiative to reduce spine-related disability by 10 percent by the year 2025.
Spine-related impairment is among the most common causes for disability in the United States, according to recent studies, and costing around $250 billion annually.
