New Spine Surgery Technology Available at Mission Community Hospital in California

Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, Calif., recently incorporated advanced three dimensional O-arm technology for improved precision and accuracy during spinal procedures, according to a hospital news release.

Mission is the first hospital in San Fernando Valley to have this technology for minimally invasive spine procedures. The system allows physicians to take 360-degree images of the patient, which hare sent to a navigation computer in the OR. The surgeon can view the images perioperatively to make necessary adjustments.
