New Jersey hospital earns 2nd consecutive Gold Seal spine certification

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. earned its second Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission for Disease-Specific Care Re-Certification for Spine Surgery.

The award is the second consecutive Gold Seal certification earned by the RWJUH spine program, according to a Sept. 15 news release. 

In June, the hospital underwent an onsite review that evaluated certification standards compliance. Reviewers with the Joint Commission also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
