New brain, spine blood vessel disorder facility opens in Qatar: 4 points

Doha, Qatar-based Hamad Medical Corporation opened its Neuroangiography Suite at Hamad General Hospital, according to The Peninsula.

Here are four points:

 

1. The suite will provide treatment for patients with bloods vessel disorders of the brain and spine.

 

2. Patients with acute stroke, tumors, vascular malformations and brain aneurysms may seek care at the new suite.

 

3. The new suite includes advanced bi-plane angiography CT imaging, which provides images of the inside of blood vessels and organs.

4. The hospital expects to treat more than 200 cases in the suite in the first year.
