Neurosurgeon joins Johns Hopkins: 3 things to know

Neurosurgeon Jared J. Marks, MD, joined Johns Hopkins Neurosurgery and Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Marks specializes in spine surgery.

2. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia-based Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr. Marks then underwent complex spine surgery fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

3. Dr. Marks will see patients at the Johns Hopkins Health Care and Surgery Center and perform surgery at Suburban Hospital, both in Bethesda.
