Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-based Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center welcomed neurosurgeon Gregory Weiner, MD.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Weiner specializes in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, stroke and kyphoplasty.

2. After earning his medical degree from New Orleans-based Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Weiner completed a residency and fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at UPMC.

3. Dr. Weiner is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
