Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System welcomes neurosurgeon Daniel Aghion, MD, to its team on July 1, 2016.

1. Dr. Aghion will treat patients at Memorial Regional Hospital, also in Hollywood, and Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Fla.

 

2. He moves to Florida after completing his complex spine and oncology fellowship at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins.

 

3. Specializing in complex spine disorders and degenerative spine disease, Dr. Aghion also focuses on kyphosis, spinal trauma, spine oncology, spine tumors, scoliosis and peripheral nerve surgery.

 

4. Dr. Aghion performs minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

5. A member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Aghion is also affiliated with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

 

6. After earning his medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel, Dr. Aghion completed his neurosurgery residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
