Neurosurgeon Dr. Barry Pollard inducted into OSU Hall of Fame: 4 highlights

Stillwater-based Oklahoma State University inducted Barry Pollard, MD, into its Hall of Fame, according to EnidNews.com.

Here are four highlights:

 

1. The neurosurgeon treats patients at Neurological Surgery Associates in Enid, Okla.

 

2. Dr. Pollard is owner and president of P&K Equipment as well as owner of Pollard Farms.

 

3. He served as a founding member of Oklahoma State University Medical Cowboys, which strived to encourage more physicians to practice in rural areas.

 

4. He earned induction into the Hall of Fame because of his commitment to a great array of interests, from medicine to agriculture.

 

5. Dr. Pollard completed his neusourgery residency at Norma-based University of Oklahoma.
