NASS Honors Dr. Thomas Faciszewski With David Selby Award

Thomas Faciszewski, MD, has received the David Selby Award from the North American Spine Society.

Formerly the Key Service Award, the David Selby Award is given for contributions to the art and science of spinal disorder management through service to NASS. Dr. Faciszewski has been a NASS member since 1994 and was instrumental in NASS advocacy efforts for appropriate reimbursement for spinal procedures.

Dr. Faciszewski was president of NASS in 2007 and led efforts for increased transparency of physician-industry relationships among NASS board of directors. He is a spine surgeon at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin.
