Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina added spinal neurosurgeon Patrick Jowdy, MD.
Dr. Jowdy specializes in complex spine surgery and previously worked in private practice, according to a March 31 news release. He is working at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center.
Dr. Jowdy is expected to play a key role as Lancaster Medical Center plans to add navigation and robotic technology to its neurosurgery program.
He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at University at Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Medicine.
