Munster Community Hospital to Expand Neurosurgery Unit

Community Hospital in Munster, Ind., began a $33 million expansion project in January, which now includes the expansion of its Neuroscience Intensive Care and Neuroscience Immediate Care units, according to a Munster Community report.

The neuroscience units will take over the vacated intermediate care unit. The expansion is designed to serve a larger number of spine, neurosurgery and stroke cases.

The entire project is tentatively slated for completion in January 2015.
