Missouri Health System to Purchase Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute

CoxHealth in Springfield, Mo., plans to purchase the Springfield (Mo.) Neurological and Spine Institute for an undisclosed price, according to a News-Leader news report.

The health system is purchasing the clinic and assets from Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute effective Jan. 1, and the 80 clinic employees will become CoxHealth employees. The clinic includes 12 physicians and an imaging center.

Clinic physicians treat brain, spinal and peripheral nerve disorders, such as tumors and herniated discs.
