Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush welcomed Gregory Lopez, MD, to its team.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Dr. Lopez performs minimally invasive surgery to treat complex spinal degenerative disorders.

 

2. He treats both pediatric and adult spinal deformity.

 

3. Dr. Lopez earned his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine.

 

4. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency at University of California Irvine, Dr. Lopez completed his spine surgery fellowship at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

 

5. Dr. Lopez will see patients at the practice’s Winfield, Ill., and Rush Oak Park (Ill.) Hospital locations, beginning Sept. 7.
