Methodist Hospitals opens orthopedic & spine center

Methodist Hospitals opened an orthopedic and spine center in Merrillville, Ind., according to a report by The Times of Northwest Indiana.

The center was established after Methodist bought some local physician practices and brought them together under one roof. The center offers treatments for spine, nervous system and orthopedic conditions. There are plans to add pain management services in the future.

 

The center is part of $2.5 million project that also included the expansion of orthopedic and spine services at Methodist Hospitals’ Midlake Campus in Gary, Ind., according to the report.
