Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center launched a new Back & Neck Health Center, and Andrew Hanna, DO, is medical director of the new facility, according to a news release.
The Back & Neck Health Center is housed in the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Pavilion and offers conservative spine care in an outpatient setting. It was designed to centralize patient care and support evolving insurance requirements.
“Too often, patients are sent directly to a spine surgeon prior to seeking appropriate diagnosis, conservative therapies, and minimally invasive intervention first,” Dr. Hanna said in the release. “This health center ensures patients are seen by the right provider at the right time—with a team approach that includes pain specialists, physical therapists, and surgeons working together.”
