The Los Angeles Rams NFL team is consulting with Robert Watkins, IV, MD, over care for quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Los Angeles Times reported July 26.

Dr. Watkins and the Rams’ Vice President of Sports Medicine and Performance Reggie Scott have met to assess the quarterback’s back pain, coach Sean McVay said in a news conference.

Mr. Stafford has missed practice since the Rams opened training camp, and he’s being treated for what Mr. McVay initially described as back soreness.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
