Mayfield Brain & Spine has added neurosurgeons Dr. Shahed Elhamdani, MD, and Dr. Daniel Kreatsoulas, MD, to the practice. They are seeing patients in Crestview Hills, Ky.
The two physicians will perform surgeries at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Ky., the Mayfield Spine Surgery Center in Norwood and other regional health systems, according to an Aug. 19 news release from Mayfield Brain & Spine.
The additions come as Mayfield expands its physician team. The practice is adding four physicians this year for a total of 31, the release said.
Mayfield has 22 neurosurgeons, one orthopedic spine surgeon, one neuro-oncologist and six interventional pain physicians.
