Jeopardy! host undergoes surgery to remove subdural hematoma: 4 things to know

Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek underwent surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Physicians at Cedars-Sinai diagnosed and removed a subdural hematoma Dec. 16, 2017.

 

2. Mr. Trebek was released from the hospital Dec. 18, 2017, and is expected to make a full recovery.

 

3. Mr. Trebek noticed symptoms of a hematoma after suffering from a fall back in October 2017.

 

4. The Jeopardy! host is expected to return to tapping later in January. The only changes to the show’s schedule will be to episodes airing in April.
