Jax Spine & Pain opens region’s largest surgery center

A multispecialty surgery center anchored by Jax Spine & Pain Centers and the University of Florida Health Jacksonville has opened in Jacksonville to provide interventional spine procedures and pain management services to the community, according to a July 5 report from HC+O News.

The 54,000-square-foot facility is the largest freestanding multispecialty surgery center in the region, according to the report. 

The first floor of the building houses the ASC with four operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms, a separate pain procedure suite with four procedure rooms and a dedicated MRI suite

Jax Spine & Pain will also have exam rooms, two procedure rooms, infusion rooms, a lab, offices, staff support spaces and open waiting areas on the third floor.
